This web site has the purpose of supplementing Timothy Gantz’s Early Greek Myth: A Guide to Literary and Artistic Sources (1993, vol. 1 and vol. 2). This encyclopedic reference is the only comprehensive handbook of its kind in English, and it has become a starting-point for any research on early Greek myths.
The site currently contains supplementary materials for Chapters 9-10, 1-3, 7-8 and 12-13. Please note that the site is a work in progress, and only Chapters 9 and 10 are currently finished; the artistic sources for Chapters 1-3, 7- 8 and 12 are also up, although additional links will be provided for these art works.
